Fantastic vocal coaching (particularly for transgender individuals). Working with Morgan was life changing for me. It let me find my voice, and gave me so much more confidence when speaking. Would heartily recommend to anyone.

After finishing a run of an incredibly demanding musical in Edinburgh, I can safely say that I could not have done it without EVC. Hannah and Morgan have created not only somewhere that provides excellent, knowledgable, deeply needed services to actors - but a space that is supportive, calm and creative. I have worked for years in the West End and I have never had the level of service they provide. I had weekly sessions with Hannah and hands down, it saved my life. Vocally and mentally. I can’t wait to go back and see them again.

My 10 year old daughter has had a couple of singing lessons with Hannah and has absolutely loved them. We will definitely be back. She’s been given tips and tricks to improve her singing and Hannah has suggested fun exercises to work on, and has made it a really enjoyable and positive experience for her. We are really impressed!

I had my first vocal massage with Hannah last week, and was really impressed. Her extensive knowledge and compassionate care approach made me feel at ease straight away, and the massage itself was very therapeutic. I felt instant relief after the session.

I learned alot about what areas of my head and neck hold tension, and she sent me away with a comprehensive care plan which has literally saved my voice this busy festive season. I can't thank her enough, and am looking forward to going back in January for my next treatment.

I’ve just been for my first vocal massage in years at EVC with Morgan and I can not stop raving about it to everyone! Morgan was very informative and made sure I was comfortable. She gave me a full consultation to understand what I wanted to focus on and guided me to some solutions and ways to work through the issues I was experiencing.

Through out the appointment she explained everything very clearly and made me feel so relaxed. The biggest change was the practice I had the next day, my voice was so free! What I had thought was a technique issue, which I’ve been working on for years, turned out to be some tension. I have a concert this weekend and I am so glad I invested in this appointment before it!

The whole atmosphere at EVC is warm, welcoming and relaxed. Already planning when to go back again. Thank you so much Morgan!

I had my very first vocal massage last week, and it was an incredible experience! Hannah walked me through what the process would look and feel like, and she established a channel of communication between us early on that allowed me to feel comfortable expressing what I needed throughout the massage. I walked away feeling lighter as a person and more agile vocally. A must-have experience not only for vocalists, but anyone that accumulates tension around their neck and shoulders! Look no further, these people are the best! We needed a cast vocal massage whilst working on a show at the Edinburgh Lyceum and we could not have been happier with the services we received. We ended up booking several more appointments! Morgan was so helpful in accommodating us with an appointment and advice and all the services offered are so reasonably priced. She was so quick to respond and brilliant at what she does. So knowledgable and just a lovely person who really cares about what they do. I would bring them on every job I did if I could. Can’t wait to use them again already!

I had my first vocal coaching session with Hannah from EVC and although I was nervous to start, Hannah made me feel comfortable and very quickly put me at ease. The knowledge, advice and guidance that I received was truly amazing and I was hearing and feeling improvements instantly. I left with some great tools to apply to my practice for upcoming shows and I felt much more confident after just one vocal session!! I would highly recommend! Thank you so much x

After some unsuccessful singing coaching from another school in Edinburgh, my friend referred me to Hannah, and so glad he did.

I've gained confidence and feel like I'm learning something new every session. Not only has it helped my singing, but got me proactively dealing with my jaw tension and thinking about my breathing - so I guess it's all helping me to relax in myself.

Highly recommended if you are a beginner like me and hoping to find your true singing voice.

I kept losing my voice so I decided to go to Edinburgh Voice Care for advice. They changed everything for me and the advice was amazing. Hannah was so lovely, she took the time to understand what I was struggling with and helped me so much on my vocals! Without this help I would have been in a rut not understanding how to use my voice properly. Very grateful to Edinburgh voice care!

I highly recommend Edinburgh Voice Care. I had a fantastic experience today with Hannah. So much care and attention throughout the treatment and I left feeling relaxed and confident in using my voice. As a complete novice I was looking to improve my confidence and get some useful pointers on how to improve my range and ability. I've had two lessons with Hannah so far and have noticed a great improvement already.

Hannah put me at ease and the nervousness of singing in front of another person quickly went away. The studio is lovely and very central, I got lots of useful practise routines to try at home as well.

I can't recommend EVC enough, 5 very well deserved stars!

I have had a lovely experience every time I have visited. The space is beautifully finished and welcoming. Morgan and Hannah always make you feel at home and relaxed. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Evc - what a lovely place! As soon as you walk into the place you automatically feel welcomed and happy and free to just be yourself. Hannah and Morgan have helped me and been there for me in more ways than I can thank them for! They are both amazing and couldn’t ask for anything better! :)

I want to give my review of The Edinburgh Voice Care,I have been attending now for 3 months and cannot praise it highly enough. The high standard of coaching and Care is excellent and the venue is comfortable and beautifully decorated..Morgan Gilday is a highly trained vocal coach and is also a choir leader too. The technicality and range of work is fantastic and I look forward to my lessons and feel very privileged and lucky to be receiving coaching from Edinburgh voice care.

The premises is stylish, clean and spacious. I felt very covid safe and such a warm welcome on arrival. The Edinburgh Voice Care is one of a kind here in Scotland. Excellent location in the centre of town with loads of on street parking right by. The ladies are really friendly and reply to my questions on social media really quickly and help me understand exactly what I was wanting to know. Definitely worth a visit.

Morgan is so informative, personable and professional. We had a chat before the massage began to go through what my expectations would be, what I'm needing and to cater the massage specifically to the points I'm having problems with. I was relaxed throughout and Morgan checked in and adjusted as we went along so that I gained the most from the visit. This isn't just a standard massage - it's different for every individual and entirely specific to you. I've booked again already!! Just fab!
